BOPET film is a biaxially oriented polyester film, primarily composed of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is manufactured by first extruding PET into sheet form, then processing it through biaxial stretching and heat setting procedures. The biaxial orientation results in BOPET film having high tensile strength and thermal stability in both the transverse and longitudinal directions.
