We are launching a new category of our Bopet Film products - Bopet Clear One Side Corona Treatment Film,to help you solve some problems may exist in the fileds of packaging or printing.
Through corona discharge, high-energy ion bombardment will destroy the molecular bonds on the film surface, generate new polar groups, and form a hydrophilic surface with stronger affinity on the film surface. After corona treatment, the surface tension of the BOPET film can be increased from about 40mN/m to 52-56mN/m or higher, thereby significantly improving the adhesion of inks and coatings on it.
The surface of BOPET film after corona treatment is polar and rough, which is conducive to the diffusion and mechanical anchoring of ink molecules, thereby improving the ink adhesion and making the printing effect clearer and more durable. Therefore, corona treatment is the key to the widespread application of BOPET film in the printing and packaging industry.
